Why Putting All Your Eggs In The Google Search Engine Basket Is Suicide
Many online entrepreneurs have made a deliberate effort to
concentrate all their online marketing efforts on the Google
search engine and have not only completely ignored the other
search engines, but have also completely shunned any other
marketing strategy or methods.
While it is true that concentrating and focusing all one's
efforts on the Google search engine has brought many people some
fantastic rewards and quick riches, the truth is that this is
not only a poor marketing strategy but it is plain suicide.
Little wonder that so many webmasters are having sleepless
nights and don't have a single clue about what they should do
with all the rapid and constant, relentless changes that we are
now seeing in leading search engines.
It is common sense not to put all one's eggs in one basket. It
is a principle of life, it is the reason why insurance cover
makes so much sense. Yet, so many intelligent online
entrepreneurs have had no qualms about spending their entire
waking hours working away on their Google Search engine
marketing plans and strategies. Many of these entrepreneurs have
completely been swept off balance by the Google Search engine's
so called "Big daddy" updates that have seen many lose their
treasured top ten perches that were previously driving in loads
of traffic, virtually overnight.
There is nothing wrong with having a particular strategy and
marketing plan for the Google Search engine. In fact it makes
sense for anybody with an online presence to do so. However it
is important for a webmaster or blogger to ensure that they have
a long list of marketing methods and tools that they are putting
to use other than the strategy that involves the Google Search
engine.
It is also important to constantly test each tool being used to
see what kind of results it is bringing in. The tools or
strategy that does not work or yield any significant results can
then be quickly discarded. You will quickly find that there is
great benefit in not relying entirely on your Google Search
engine marketing strategy.
